What is that?

A couple of years ago, I carpooled to and from work. It was a great way to save gas and money and it gave me a LOT of free time to read my trash mags (that I stole from a friend and gave back to her the next day like it was in the "mail". Whatever. I digress.) and also to look out the window and watch all the scenery go by.

One particular day we were stopped in front of the Dodge dealership and they had a HUGE inflatable Dodge logo sign. This thing was huge. When I looked up from my stolen mag and saw it my first thought was "Wow, that sure is a large Vagina!"

Then the giggling ensued. I was in full blown laughter almost peeing my pants ('cause it was a long commute).

See for yourself.

What do you think? Do you think that the Dodge logo resembles a vajayjay or really the female productive system?

I was looking for the origin of the logo and came upon The History of Car Logos webpage and found out that the Ram was chosen for the image it portrays - sure-footed, King of the Trail. I did NOT find anything saying anything regarding a vagina.

Still anytime I see that big inflatable or a logo on the back of the trucks...Vajayjay is the first thing that comes to mind. Just saying.

Sunday's picture

Today we went out to Katy and we saw some interesting things.

First we have redneck tubing or redneck sleigh ride or redneck land surfing? Call it what you want....this is what we saw.

Then we look over and saw training wheels......
Seriously? Training wheels?

Cool car?

So this weekend is my 10 year anniversary of being married to one of the greatest men alive!

We were going to go to Vegas, but as most things I talked myself out of the trip. The decision was made to stay more local (as in Texas) and do something fun....as in rent a car for a road trip and head out to a nice already booked hotel with some fancy champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.

So yesterday, we booked a reservation for a "cool car" on one of the big major car rental places websites. Let's just say that if you were going to look this place up....you would start at the front of the yellow pages.
The "cool car" was shown as a Corvette or something comparable like a H3 Hummer, Cadillac CTS or an Infiniti SUV.

We picked the choice of "cool car" and went through the entire reservation process. We were all excited thinking we were going to get a "cool car". Hubster got the confirmation email and immediately grabbed the phone to call said rental car place to verify the "cool car" status. The only reason he thought it would be better to ask now instead of when we picked it up was because on the email confirmation there wasn't a picture of a "cool car". It was a picture of a Cargo Van....

The conversation that ensued had me rolling on the ground laughing hysterically. I could only hear my hubster's side of it all....but still.

H: "No sir, I do not think that a Cargo van is a "cool car"."

H: "Sir, do you think that a cargo van is a "cool car"?"

H: "Can you please just cancel our reservation?"

I mean....I guess we could have a blast in it. Our own little party van driving around in the hill country for the weekend. We could stop anytime we wanted and party.

Don't come a knockin' if the van is rockin'!

I am a bit afraid

We have bought a lot of things over the Internet in the last couple of years. It took me a while to even buy the smallest of things on the Internet for the longest because I was skeeeeered. And you know there was this one time I bought something I saw on TV and we ended up with all kinds of weird reoccurring charges that took FOREVER to deal with the bank. And I HATE dealing with the bank. I would rather poke my eyes out.

Tonight I bought something that I didn't think I would ever do.....and no I didn't buy anything kinky over the Internet! I did buy a piece of furniture. I bought this lovely DVD holder. It will hold over 500 DVDs.

I am so excited. I will have a place for all of our overflowing DVDs and Cds.

When I was shopping for the one that I wanted I found it a couple of places online. I found it on Amazon for $99 but the shipping charge for it was $104........so you have to pay more shipping than the actual item. I found it at this place that is offering free shipping and no tax until February 2nd.

I am stoked.
