Tonight was my son's last little league game before playoffs. His team has lost every game except one*. Tonight before we left the house he came up to me and handed me a penny he had found. He walked off and then came back with his piggy bank and got out 12 pennies. One for each of his team mates.
He brought me the dozen pennies and asked me to hold on to them so that he could give them to his coach so that each of his team mates would have good luck too.
I love my child's generous nature! What an awesome kid!
*We lost tonight as well. Thank goodness the season is over!
